Built to last, the shop fox w1669 1/2 hp 34-inch bench-top radial drill press has the ability to drill wide stocks up to 34 inches in diameter. this machine comes with a head that slides in and out to facilitate the increase of the distance between the drill chuck and the column to a maximum of 17 inches.. But not the bench top model. the column and radial arm are smaller in diameter, therefore less rigid. there are times when that extra versatility would be handy. - runswithscissors. i have a similar experience. i also have a rockwell that i got for $100. it is a fantastic drill press with no flexibility that i can detect, and is very square.. I just bought a radiel arm drill press and there are no hints of a mfg. on it anywhere. lots of numbers on base 253-11,chuck shaft 2532-1,motor bracket 2531-14 ,radial arm bracket 1152-00,otherside 1152-00/e2 front of pully cover a danger plack.it has a ge 1/4 motor,20" reach, 21" centre post and on the centre post there is a spring to help raise and lower it with ease.. Im looking for any info on walker turner model 1600 radial arm drill press. i acquired one last year and have been going through and tuning it up. i’m hoping someone might be able to share a manual and help me locate some hoover spindle bearings 7202-625 or an alternative for this bearing as they are not made anymore..
