For my sectional and chair, i lightly sanded the peeling area and then just applied a fabric adhesive (aleene’s ok to wash it @$5 on amazon). i just used a paper towel to rub the adhesive in. i then quickly went over it with a slightly damp paper towel (which removes some of the excess) and then continued to rub it in with a dry paper towel. Cut off the peeling faux leather with a razor blade. before repairing the faux leather, you’ll first need to remove all of the flaking pieces. use your fingers and a razor blade to peel, scrape, and cut away the peeling sections of faux leather from your chair or sofa. don’t slice off more faux leather than necessary, though.. If your "leather" sofa is peeling you do not have genuine leather made from animal hides. what you do have is "bonded leather". this is an inferior material that is one of the single biggest sources of complaints by furniture purchasers. real leather is expensive if taken care of it lasts a very long time. it does not peel.. office chair leather peeling
